Ndi Nancy Saiboh

Ndi Nancy Saiboh is the Founder and Executive Director, Actions for Development and Empowerment. She is also the Country Director Follow The Money – Cameroon.

The Cameroonian government has taken several actions to address the problems of bad governance and corruption that have impeded economic development but it is yet to yield the desired result, says Ndi Nancy Saiboh.

Nancy is the Founder and Executive Director of Yaoundé-based Actions for Development and Empowerment, a  grassroots and youth-driven organization that aims to empower young people to act around issues that affect their lives.

With a background in social justice and advocacy, Nancy also doubles as the Country Director of Follow The Money – Cameroon, where she oversees initiatives that promote transparency and accountability in government procurement and public finance.

Nancy believes advocating for Freedom of Information, embracing the culture of accountability, and empowering community-based organizations and grassroots leaders to track governmental projects and follow the money will yield good results and foster good governance in Cameroon.

To effectively combat corruption and other governance challenges, there is a need to cultivate a culture of accountability and empower citizens and community leaders to track funds on government projects for improved governance.
