Cooperative for Good Living and Peace

Sustainable peace cannot be achieved without addressing inequality and exclusion, both of which contribute to conflict.
During our visit to the Caquetá department of Colombia, the Governance Action Hub team met with two women leaders from the Cooperative for Good Living and Peace in the local community of Agua Bonita.
The Cooperative provides services and educational programs in the Territorial Space for Training and Reincorporation (ETCR), a designated area aimed at supporting the reintegration of demobilized ex-guerrillas.
The women discussed the challenges faced by the Cooperative in Agua Bonita, including a limited energy supply that hampers basic community activities. They also explored potential solutions to improve the energy supply, which is essential for the successful reintegration of ex-combatants into local society.
