Padiwanashe Mataranyika is an International Relations and Law graduate from Zimbabwe committed to advancing good governance, peacebuilding, and sustainable development.

Padiwanashe Mataranyika is an International Relations and Law graduate from Zimbabwe committed to advancing good governance, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. She currently serves as a Governance Advisor and Co-Chair of Carifika Zimbabwe’s Advisory Committee, providing expertise on governance, sustainability frameworks, and diaspora collaboration strategies. As a Governance and Policy Analyst with the Centre for Contemporary Pan-Africanism, she contributes to research and publications on state fragility, political accountability, and African-led solutions for sustainable peace.

Padiwanashe is also the Founder and Project Lead of the Moyo Muti Initiative, a grassroots project supporting rural schoolchildren through mentorship, human rights awareness, and advocacy against child marriage. A graduate of several leadership and fellowship programs, including the AMEL Project and the Africa SDGs Mentorship Program, she brings a pan-African perspective to inclusive policy design. Her work in governance explores how good governance and leadership can transform communities from the ground up.
