How storytelling can build trust, influence decisions, and inspire action

22 July 2026 | 2 pm CEST · Hosted by the Governance Action Hub in collaboration with The Bloom

Register now!

Facts and evidence matter, but they are rarely enough to inspire action on their own. This practical, 90-minute workshop explores how storytelling can help governance and social change practitioners communicate complex work, build trust, influence decisions, and mobilize support.

Through real-world examples and interactive discussion, participants will learn how to connect evidence, lived experience, and values into clear, compelling narratives for different audiences.

What you’ll learn

By the end of the workshop, participants will be better able to:

  • identify the audiences they need to reach;
  • use storytelling to make complex issues more meaningful;
  • connect evidence and lived experience in compelling ways;
  • communicate their work with greater clarity, purpose, and impact.
