Felicia Khan

Felicia Khan (she/her) is a Senior Fellow of the Governance Action at R4D. She serves as an innovation advisor, bringing expertise in scaling innovation, strengthening innovation ecosystems systems and participatory development. She is working to surface creative, collaborative or bold approaches to governance, and to better understand how to scale these innovative approaches to further impact. Felicia seeks to learn more about the roles of the change agents behind governance innovations, their challenges and successes, and how they are agitating, innovating or orchestrating for change in their communities and beyond.

As a members of R4D’s Scaling Innovation practice, she has led research and working groups with the International Development Innovation Alliance (IDIA) centered on equity and strengthening innovation ecosystems. Prior to R4D, Felicia worked cross-sector Asia, Africa and the US on systems change, collaborative learning and developing knowledge management systems. She is especially interested in governance issues which enhance inclusion, voice or build assets for marginalized groups.

Outside of work, she loves gardening, hiking and getting lost in new cultures and places.
