Taylor Salisbury
Location: Washington DC, USA
Taylor Salisbury is the Evaluation and Adaptive Learning (EAL) advisor of the Governance Action Hub at R4D. He works with the global team and country teams to help them articulate how they will bring about change through the initiative’s activities. Taylor then develops an approach to measuring and tracking that change over time. He also facilities reflection on what the Governance Action Hub has learned during implementation so that the team can build on these insights and improve programming over time.
Taylor has over ten years of experience working with partners in Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, and South Asia, with a specific focus on health and education. He has overseen several large-scale data collection efforts to understand how health and education systems function and regularly facilitates workshops with partners to collaboratively design research activities and synthesize what has been learned from those activities. The root cause of many of the challenges faced by these partners is often imperfect underlying governance systems. Taylor enjoys working with partners to generate evidence that gives partners an idea of how to address those imperfections.
In his free time, Taylor enjoys running, swimming, and biking.
