Last July, the region of Moquegua in Southern Peru became the stage for a powerful conversation about the future of mining wealth. More than 130 people—community leaders, students, business representatives, government officials, and international partners—came together to ask an urgent question: How can mining revenue be turned into real development for the region? The Forum was prioritized, organized and planned by CONVERGE Moquegua, the diverse multistakeholder coalition for change supported by the Governance Action Hub.
